Showcasing ANU teaching innovation

The recent ANU Learning and Teaching Day was an opportunity to learn and share across Colleges and Schools, and beyond academic and professional boundaries. The Poster Showcase in particular, provided an opportunity for staff to discuss current teaching and learning projects and successes across ANU.

The informal low-stakes environment meant that academic and professional staff at every level could be involved. Innovations included virtual reality, student-led assessment, use of actual maps to map content and assessment, and student support and experience programs. A range of in-progress Strategic Learning and Teaching grants were represented.

Amidst the conversational hum was a cross-pollination of ideas spanning disciplines, alongside inquiries into the practical application of the innovations shared.

We would like to thank the people and teams represented at the poster showcase for their valuable contributions. We would also like to thank the attendees for their engagement and enthusiasm.
