Law School,
ANU College of Law
VICE-CHANCELLOR’S AWARD FOR TEACHING EXCELLENCE
CANDIDATE
Dr Anne Macduff ’s scholarly commitment to diversity underpins her innovative approach to legal education. Her courses motivate and build student confidence to ‘speak out’, by first rehearsing how to ‘speak up’. In class, students share ideas and generate new perspectives on the law. Diverse students, even the most reserved students, gain confidence in her courses, which enhances an understanding of diversity at the law school, ANU and our society.
