Celebrating Excellence: Recipients Announced!

The 2023 Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence in Education is an opportunity for ANU to celebrate and make visible some of the achievements of the ANU teaching community. The processes of teaching, and those of learning, are complex and challenging, our successes have come from the dedication, care and skill of ANU’s educators.

Click the video below to hear Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Grady Venville, announce the results of this year’s awards.

Nominees and recipients for the awards showcased a broad range of innovative approaches to education that draw upon principles of active learning, project-based learning and work integrated learning, to situate students as builders and organisers in the construction of their own knowledge.

With nearly 60 applicants, the selection panels particularly sought to highlight teaching stories that exemplify key aspects of our Teaching and Learning Strategy in their selection of the finalists. We hope the projects and approaches highlighted by these awards provide inspiration and a source of pride for all of ANU.
