Heads up – ChatGPT at ANU

Due to the flurry of media attention over the summer, ChatGPT’s impact on higher education is on everyone’s minds. Naturally, ANU teaching staff are as interested as anyone, especially as they consider what assessment might look like in the AI era.

What guidance will ANU provide?

This will be published before the start of Semester 1 2023. Some adjustments are also being made to our academic integrity rules, and guidance for students is being clarified through an update to best practice principles.
