CANDIDATE
Dr Wei Zeng's mission is to equip students with accounting knowledge and practices that build on accounting as the language of business. Her research and work experience are sources for her lasting enthusiasm and approaches to teaching management accounting. Wei desires to adapt course design to dynamic learning environments to align with the practice-oriented nature of management accounting knowledge, the need of students to prepare for their careers, and the transition to a hybrid teaching mode.
"I encourage students to speak out in the class; maybe for some students they are not ready to speak out, but they need a push, a small push."
"I always have that desire to teach better and always do it out of delight, not out of duty, because I really love teaching and I really love promoting student learning experience."
