VICE-CHANCELLOR’S AWARD FOR TEACHING EXCELLENCE
RECIPIENT
Karlee Johnston has revitalised and delivered a modern and comprehensive pharmacology curriculum for the ANU Medical School across all year levels following her appointment in 2018. Karlee is also the Chair of the Professionalism and Leadership (PAL) teaching committee in Phase 2 (years 3 and 4), where she works with an interdisciplinary team to develop and deliver professionalism and leadership teaching.
“One of the things I think that I really give to the students is a model of vulnerability and authenticity, and I think that's a really wonderful thing for them to see and for them to be able to model.”
