Teaching inspiration returns

Across ANU, there are countless teachers with inspiring stories to tell, all of which are underpinned by philosophies of learning and teaching. The Educational Fellowship Scheme’s (EFS) Developing your Teaching Philosophy sessions provide a forum for teachers to come together and share their philosophies, with attendance open to everyone, whether you are still working on creating your own philosophy, or simply wish to be inspired by teachers you may not otherwise have a chance to work with, or hear from.

After a Covid-related hiatus in 2020, the EFS Developing your Teaching Philosophy sessions will be making a comeback in May 2021, with further dates to be communicated on the EFS website. In the meantime, please enjoy these teaching philosophies that have been shared in previous workshops.

Alexandra Webb is an Associate Professor at the Medical Education Unit and the Deputy Director of the ANU Medical School.
